Bridge, Hindeloopen

The old draw bridge over the lock at the Zijlroede (in Frisian Sylroede) in Hindeloopen (Hylpen), a once prosperous city on the IJsselmeer, the former Zuider Zee. The house for the operator of the lock has an open clock tower (“stoel”), built in 1619.
